The Uniform Honeycomb-filled Tube (UHT) is one of the composite structures that has shown huge potential in absorbing energy. In this paper, Honeycomb (UH) filler replaced by an enhanced Modularized (MH). biggest advantage MH it can significantly enhance energy absorption without adding weight compared with its uniform counterpart. Finite element models are created, and then validated theoretical models. (MHT) empty tube UHT. results show MHT superior to them Specific Energy Absorption (SEA). It also found help improve deformation stability, which key MHT’s excellent capacity. Then, effects design parameters on SEA investigated discussed. a large graded coefficient good for enhancing MHT.
